From the interview, through a structured induction process that gives you the best chance to do well in your new role, and every step of the way beyond, it’s all about you as an individual. Where you fit – and could fit – in the business as a whole and what experience and transferable skills you need for the future.

Your manager will work with you to set clear development goals, providing all the feedback and the support you need, so you know exactly where you stand. Together, you’ll be able to draw on a whole range of proven learning opportunities, including job shadowing, one-to-one coaching and mentoring, group learning in face to face sessions and e-Learning at your convenience covering important subjects such as responsible lending, treating customers fairly and living the vision.

Within our Retail environment, your induction will be a mixture of in-store development, computer-based training and site visits. Twice a year, we’ll formally review your performance; part of this process is to identify and support those ready for progression through the organisation.
