BrightHouse works with VT Training to offer nationally recognised vocational qualifications. As one of the leading national providers of work based training, VT Training is able to offer a wide range of training to suit employees needs.

All training and assessment is carried out by VT Training’s Vocational Coaches within the workplace. Once employees are up and running on the programme a Vocational Coach visits on a regular basis, to assist their continued development.


This is a learning programme that connects colleagues to our dynamically changing business. It enables a high percentage of future managers and colleagues to demonstrate skills and develop within an organised, rewarding and valuable business management programme.

The objective of the People of Potential programme is to ensure we have talented Managers to support our forthcoming growth plans. The content has been designed to accommodate full time or part time staff and transform them into our next success stories as Deputy Managers.


This scheme has been developed to promote learning and encourage personal development. All permanent BrightHouse colleagues are eligible to apply for a recognition award, and can make a new application every financial year.

Under the terms of this scheme colleagues may apply if they intend to complete a qualification outside of work. This can be any nationally recognised and accredited qualification in any subject area, even a National Diploma in Bee Keeping! Every application will be reviewed and, if successful, a £100 recognition award pledged for payment upon successful completion of the qualification.


As colleagues develop and progress through their careers a number of opportunities for further education are built into our career path. Currently we have colleagues studying NVQ Level 5, MBA, as well as specialist qualifications such as CIMA.
